Yankauer handle is a medical device used in suctioning procedures to remove blood, secretions, or other fluids from a patient's body. It consists of a rigid, curved plastic or metal tube and a removable tip.
It is named after the American ear, nose and throat specialist, Sidney Yankauer, who invented it in the early 1900s.
